Job Title: Inside Sales Coordinator

Description: The primary responsibility of this position is to support independent sales representatives in their market development efforts through strategic prospecting, targeted marketing, and customer engagement. Using project lead services, customer relationship management tools, and marketing databases, the position identifies and develops potential opportunities among prospective, past, and current customers within assigned representative territories, providing actionable information and marketing support to help representatives pursue those opportunities.

An Inside Sales Coordinator also develops and executes agency/representative-specific marketing and outreach campaigns, utilizing email, direct mail, targeted content, and other engagement strategies to build awareness, nurture prospects, increase specification activity, and support product sales.

While the department is primarily focused on proactive marketing, prospect development, and generating new business opportunities, an Inside Sales Coordinator may also support project-specific requests and targeted sales initiatives as needed.

In addition, the Inside Sales Coordinator serves as a key liaison between independent sales agencies and Tnemec Corporate, connecting agency personnel with marketing resources, sales support, technical expertise, and other corporate resources that help advance opportunities and address specific market needs.

This role offers flexibility in position level, with Coordinator or Manager designation based on experience and demonstrated capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Market Development & Strategic Marketing

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Marketing Specialists to identify key market development goals and develop targeted market strategies focused on competitive specifications, market opportunities, and increased awareness of Tnemec products and solutions.
  • Leverage project lead services, specification analysis tools, real-time analytics, and targeted data mining efforts to identify architectural and engineering firms actively engaging with Tnemec content and/or specifying competitive products, creating opportunities to expand Tnemec's specification base and product sales.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and growth opportunities on an as-needed basis to support planning, business development initiatives, and informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate, develop and implement new digital marketing and sales enablement tools, when appropriate, to drive prospect and customer engagement.

CRM, Data and Marketing Technology

  • Serve as a secondary administrator for Tnemec's CRM platform, maintaining basic customization knowledge, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and making basic layout or automation adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain CRM data for assigned agencies through records generated from inquiries, tradeshow leads, customer order data, presentations, webinars, and direct responses to marketing campaigns.
  • Routinely monitor customer digital engagement activity through HubSpot CRM related to corporate campaigns and campaign-specific initiatives, identifying trends and opportunities for targeted follow-up.
  • Perform ongoing CRM data cleansing and database hygiene activities, including resolving bounced records, identifying inactive prospects, and maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Manage and fulfill landing page form submissions for sample packets, literature, and facility consultations, coordinating with associated agencies to ensure timely follow-up and customer support.
  • Support AIA continuing education initiatives by reporting credits for agency presentations and corporate webinars, managing attendee records in the CRM, enrolling participants in relevant email nurture campaigns, and generating and distributing completion certificates.

Sales Enablement and Project Support

  • Serve as an administrator for Tnemec's project tracking platform, supporting representatives and office staff through user management, search optimization, and project tracking assistance.
  • Coordinate with Marketing personnel and Sales Directors to develop project reference lists highlighting relevant past projects and Tnemec product applications for use as sales support tools.
  • Support project-specific sales activities as needed with specifications, product certifications, product performance comparisons, case histories, and system sell sheets.
  • Generate Oracle sales reports upon request to support agency needs, business analysis, and decision-making.
  • Facilitate agency requests for gated technical resources, including test marketing data sheets, performance criteria, and test reports, providing information needed to support customer inquiries, specification efforts, and project pursuits.
  • Provide agencies with design template platform support, including basic usage guidance, troubleshooting, and content creation assistance as needed.
  • Support Tnemec's dealer program by assisting with customer onboarding, customizing Digital Asset Management (DAM) portal content, and serving as a secondary corporate resource for dealer questions and support needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with construction process, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, marketing automation platforms, or marketing/inside sales experience a plus
