We are looking for a smart, proactive, and execution focused Inside Sales Analyst to support day-to-day inside sales activities while also bringing strong analytical thinking, process ownership, and improvement ideas to the team. This role is primarily focused on inside sales, with added responsibility for reporting, CRM discipline, process improvement, and automation.

The ideal candidate will have prior inside sales experience, work well across teams, take initiative, and help elevate the overall performance of the function.

What this role will do

  • Manage inbound leads, lead qualification, follow-up, and handoff to the right sales owners
  • Support inside sales activities from customer inquiry through quote support and internal handoff
  • Gather project and customer information required for qualification, quoting, and opportunity setup
  • Maintain accurate data in Salesforce and support CRM reporting, data quality, and process compliance
  • Create reports, dashboards, trackers, and presentations to improve visibility and decision-making
  • Support proposal coordination, customer-facing materials, and internal sales documentation
  • Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to move opportunities forward efficiently
  • Identify process gaps and use automation, AI tools, and better workflows to improve productivity and consistency
  • Take ownership of selected process improvement initiatives and help standardize team workflows and templates

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Sales Operations, Business Development, or a similar commercial role
  • Prior inside sales experience in a fast-paced B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
  • Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach to work
  • Good analytical skills and comfort working with reports, data, and sales metrics
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Interest in automation, AI tools, and process improvement
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred experience

  • Technical background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is preferred
  • Experience supporting quoting, proposal coordination, lead qualification, or opportunity management processes
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, presentations, or business trackers for sales teams
  • Experience improving workflows, templates, CRM adoption, or team productivity
  • Experience in solar, renewable energy, industrial products, or another technical B2B business is a plus
