L'ingénieur de projet est responsable de la sélection de tous les composants mécaniques et de la préparation de la documentation d'un projet. Il assistera les dessinateurs, le service de contrôle qualité et la production lors de l'exécution des projets. Vous serez un atout indispensable au sein de l'équipe Boiler solutions.
Principales Responsabilités
Diriger des projets d'ingénierie, nécessitant l'application de connaissances en ingénierie, ainsi que les efforts de conception et de rédaction associés.
Préparer des schémas de procédé et d'instrumentation (P&ID, dessins 2D)
Lire et examiner les spécifications du projet et sélectionner les composants appropriés
Préparer les nomenclatures (BOM)
Effectuer des calculs mécaniques (dynamique des fluides, thermodynamique, mécanique et autres)
Préparer divers documents pour les projets
Contacter les fournisseurs et obtenir des devis pour des équipements spéciaux
Fournir des avis techniques, du soutien et des conseils aux autres départements.
Soutenir les concepteurs de mécanique et de tuyauterie dans leur tâche.
Acquérir les connaissances nécessaires au bon accomplissement de ses fonctions.
Responsable de la communication de ces connaissances aux autres.
Soutenir les techniciens de service lors du démarrage et de l'entretien du brûleur.
Toute tâche connexe peut être demandée.
Autres tâches assignées par la direction.
Bien organisé et capacité à gérer les priorités

Conditions
Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou en génie chimique. ·
Faire partie de l'OIQ ou être en voie de l'obtenir
'expérience en génie mécanique (procédé et instrumentation)
Une expérience avec les systèmes de brûleurs industriels est un atout.
Expérience avec les logiciels utilisés par le département (Inventor, Mathcad, MS Office)
Connaissance de la tuyauterie et de l'instrumentation industrielles, du soudage et des procédures de soudage
Connaissance des codes de tuyauterie industrielle : ASME B31.1, B31.3.
Connaissance du code de protection incendie : NFPA, CSA
Capacité à interagir efficacement avec les clients internes et externes.
Excellente connaissance d'Autocad (obligatoire) et des logiciels de communication
Connaissance et expérience de Visual Basic et de la programmation dans Excel.
Posséder une très bonne connaissance théorique de la thermodynamique, de la dynamique des fluides et de la mécanique.

The Project Engineer is responsible for the selection of all mechanical components and to prepare the documentation for a project. He will assist the drafters, quality control department and production during the execution of the projects. You will be an indispensable asset to the Boiler solutions team.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct and direct engineering projects, necessitating the application of engineering knowledge, along with associated design and drafting effort.
- Prepare process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID, 2D drawings)
- Read and review project specifications and select appropriate components
- Prepare bills of materials (BOM)
- Perform mechanical calculations (fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanical and others)
- Prepare various documentation for the projects
- Contact suppliers and obtain quotations for special equipment
- Supply technical advices, support and counsels to other departments.
- Support mechanical and piping designers with their duty.
- Acquire necessary knowledge involved in the successful accomplishment of his/her duties. Responsible for communicating this knowledge to others.
- Support service technicians during burner start-up and servicing.
- Any related task may be requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in mechanical or in chemical Engineering field. ·
- Be part of the OIQ or be in the process of obtaining it
- Experience in mechanical engineering (process and instrumentation)
- Experience with industrial burner systems is an asset.
- Experience with software used by the department (Inventor, Mathcad, MS Office)
- Knowledge of industrial piping & instrumentation, welding and welding procedures
- Knowledge of industrial piping Codes: ASME B31.1, B31.3.
- Knowledge of fire protection code: NFPA, CSA
- Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers.
- Excellent knowledge of Autocad (mandatory), & communication software
- Knowledge and experience with Visual Basic and programming in Excel.
- Possess a very sound theoretical knowledge of thermodynamic, fluid dynamic and mechanics.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
