ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Demand and Delivery Manager in the ISD Markets team, responsible for Infrastructure change in for LSEG Markets. Part of a hardworking team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical proficiency, delivering significant improvements to critical infrastructure with the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Lead and co-ordinate business change and portfolio delivery.
• Lead and co-ordinate infrastructure change and portfolio delivery, that impacts Markets.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate teams within Infrastructure Engineering and wider group functions, to ensure successful delivery of infrastructure change.
• Manage and escalate risks and issues, providing frequent status reports for leadership teams.
• Provide regular updates to senior members of the leadership team and other stakeholders.
• Create and maintain delivery project plans and other key delivery artefacts.
• Ensure projects are delivered against the agreed business case, requirements, scope, budget and timeframes.
• Drive enhancements to the environment from initial scope requirement gathering exercises through to implementation.
• Encourage innovation and automation within the framework of the environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices.
• Understand complex environments to identify problem areas and undertake successful implementations to resolve and/or mitigate.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• A strong background in Infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience of applying Project Management methodologies and tooling.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges, testing assumptions, and learning from outcomes.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• An ability to respond quickly to issues and to seek feedback to improve how we work.

COMPETENCIES:

• Degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Proven experience of leading infrastructure delivery and change.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies. 
• Desirable Project Management accreditation or working towards i.e. PMP/PRINCE2.
• Works within ITIL framework.
• Understanding of Engineering and Technology Architecture.
• Strong social skills, able to communicate at all levels to deliver goals as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across architecture, engineering, and governance teams.
• Excellent skills in Project Planning tools and MS Office.
• Other tooling experience such as JIRA and confluence is desirable.
• Resource Leadership skills.
• Strong collaborative Management skills, experience of communicating clearly with Senior Leadership teams.
• A pragmatic and delivery-focused mentality.
• Comfortable working in a constantly evolving global environment.
