Job description:
At CIAL Dun&Bradstreet, we are looking for a software engineer in our Infrastructure department to help us turn our platform into easy-to-use, yet powerful, foundation for our products.
Infrastructure Ops engineer responsibilities include, in close collaboration with data and products departments, developing and deploying CI/CD core infrastructure services - including security policies (based on input from security team), high availability, custom databases, workflow job workers and systems. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with linux/bsd systems, networks, docker, CI/CD (github actions, CircleCI), and AWS. You will create both functional and robust systems that address our needs, help us optimize internal workflows, and help us grow our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Development and deployment of our K8s-based systems
- Development of our CI/CD pipelines (github actions, CircleCI)
- Maintenance and monitoring of our systems
- Optimization of workflow resource usage
- Meeting both technical and security needs, working in a wider international team
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an infrastructure engineer
- Proficiency with AWS services: primarily ECS, RDS, EC2, EKS - other cloud providers a plus
- Proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, Karpetner, or similar
- Proficiency with networks - network design and data management
- Familiarity with Python and JS, in order to understand, at surface level at least, where applications come from with their needs
- Python programming for internal utilities and APIs
- Shell scripting (Bash)
- Good documentation writing skills
- Good time-management skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Language requirements: English fluency is mandatory
