As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platforms team, y ou'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the Application management & deployment practices and resolving end user issues, as well as partner continuously with many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Job responsibilities
  • Applies technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, with a focus on improving the data and systems running at scale, and ensures end to end monitoring of applications
  • Deploy packaged software applications to production environments and troubleshoot or resolve related issues for end users and systems.
  • Generate knowledge base articles and onboard solutions to colleagues and support teams.
  • Handle advanced technical problems and create solutions that address business needs.
  • Solve technical issues independently and collaborate to contribute ideas.
  • Collaborate with business application stakeholders, packaging teams, infrastructure engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful software installation, deployment, upgrades, and release activities.
  • Apply expertise in application management and deployment practices to resolve end-user issues.
  • Partner continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on common goals and drive improvements.
  • Embrace a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Work in a collaborative, diverse, and innovative environment to deliver solutions in the best interests of customers globally.
  • Execute within a client-centric environment when working with teams and contributors.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Demonstrates strong e xperience managing application deployment in large-scale environments.
  • Serve as an escalation point for software application rollout and deployment, supporting other team members.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2022/2025.
  • Understand products and technologies for applications and desktop virtualization and VDI environments (CVAD, Omnissa, MS Azure).
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft App-V 5.1.x skills, including deployment, user custom config XML files, connection groups, and Office add-ins integration.
  • Troubleshoot and manage the latest Microsoft Configuration Manager Product Suite (SCCM) and 1E Nomad.
  • Deliver applications using advanced knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (CVAD).
  • Apply understanding of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS/Terminal Services).
  • Develop and maintain advanced scripting solutions using VB Script and PowerShell.
  • Develop tools to enable end-to-end systems automation and orchestration in software delivery and deployments.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Integrate and manage Microsoft Office products and custom Office add-ins.
  • Deploy and manage applications on Apple Mac and Unix/Linux systems.
  • Develop software using programming languages such as PowerShell, Java, Python, Angular, Node, or React.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
