Infrastructure Design Coordinator
This role shall:
- develop and modify floorplans for building A/V systems, video conferencing, IoT devices, network drops, etc.
- have experience working with floorplans and knowledge of infrastructure design and general building construction
- identify problems and offer solutions within Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP)designs
- attend meetings on space design and planning
- serve as liaison to Workplace Solutions management
- use Bluebeam Revu and other software for design
- works with Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate and/or Capital Programs involved in SOUP projects and vendors, lessors, and contractors involved
- collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams
- Ability to design and modify floorplans for AV, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure
- Strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings
- Problem‑solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions within space planning (SOUP) designs
- Effective participation in design and planning meetings
- Strong communication and coordination skills to serve as liaison with Workplace Solutions
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design software
- Experience collaborating with real estate teams, contractors, vendors, and government agencies
- Ability to work closely with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conferencing teams
Skills Required
