We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to support a strategic network infrastructure transformation and lifecycle management program. The primary objective of the initiative is the replacement of legacy network assets and the introduction of modern networking technologies across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in enterprise networking with strong strategic planning and stakeholder management capabilities. The role requires close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into long-term infrastructure roadmaps and investment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Design and define enterprise network infrastructure architecture aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Assess existing network environments and develop modernization and lifecycle replacement plans.
- Create and maintain annual infrastructure investment and CAPEX plans.
- Present infrastructure strategies, roadmaps, and investment proposals to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Provide architectural guidance for network transformation projects and technology upgrades.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements to the existing environment.
- Support governance, standards definition, and architectural decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Network Architecture, or a similar senior-level role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise network technologies, including:
- LAN
- WAN
- Firewalls
- SD-WAN
- Routing and Switching
- Network Security
- Proven experience with infrastructure lifecycle management and technology refresh programs.
- Experience in infrastructure budgeting, investment planning, and CAPEX management.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, understand, and translate business demands into strategic IT initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments.
Skills Required
