Infrastructure Architect - 7 months contract

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust technology infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients. You will leverage your expertise in technology and infrastructure architecture, along with your knowledge of information security best practices, to develop scalable and secure infrastructure designs aligned with industry standards and frameworks.

What about the role responsibilities?

•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive infrastructure architecture solutions.

•   Lead the development and documentation of infrastructure architectures, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as NORA (Networked Operations and Research Area) and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).

•   Drive the adoption of best practices in technology and infrastructure architecture, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and security.

•   Conduct regular assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

•   Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards.

•   Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and threats in the field of infrastructure architecture and information security.

What should you have to fit in this role?

•   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•   4-8 years of experience in technology and infrastructure architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.

•   Proven track record of leading the development of infrastructure architectures in alignment with NORA and TOGAF frameworks.

•   TOGAF certification preferred.

•   Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.

•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, it's nice to have:

•   Experience working in multicultural environments or with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, enhancing your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different regions and cultures.

•   Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, enabling you to integrate cloud-based solutions into infrastructure architectures and leverage the benefits of cloud technology for scalability and flexibility.

•   Certification or training in relevant areas such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), providing additional depth and expertise in key areas of infrastructure architecture and information security.
