Job Title: Infotainment system engineer for defect triaging
Experience:
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in defect triaging for infotainment system
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream.
Job Responsibilities:
- Root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.
- Identification of duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.
- Identifying and assigning severity and priority of defects.
- Check for quality of the reported defects.
- Analyzing and identifying correct domain of the raised defects.
- Follows defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and automation engineers to understand and clarify the reported defects.
- Perform tests for functional/non-functional requirements (if needed).
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent in Infotainment system defect analysis and triaging
- Excellent in trace or log analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs etc.).
- Knowledge on automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc.
- Strong in Automotive Infotainment system testing for different OEMs, regions and languages.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge on network communications.
- Working experience in trace analysis of Android applications.
- Experience with hardware devices used in automotive testing like Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix etc.
