Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and manage the firm's computer systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other peripherals.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
- Ensure data security by establishing and monitoring appropriate security measures and procedures.
- Collaborate with external vendors for IT solutions and services when necessary.
- Conduct regular audits of systems and software to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Train staff on new systems, company software, and safe internet practices.
- Tracking and inventory upkeep of all IT equipment.
- Travel to the Texas sites as needed.
- Perform ongoing assessments of software and hardware infrastructure to propose necessary upgrades or new system implementations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years years of experience in IT support, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are beneficial.
- Assist with the technical configuration and decommissioning of IT infrastructure during the launch and closure of office locations.
