Location: LineVision Headquarters, Boston, MA, Hybrid-Remote (4 days/week in office)

We are seeking an Information Technology Intern to join our IT team in deploying a new Modern Device Management (MDM) platform to enhance LineVision's enterprise computer management capabilities. This role is perfect for intern eligible students or recent graduates with an interest in IT looking to jumpstart their IT career and make an impact in the clean energy industry.
What will you do?

• Configure and test LineVision's new Modern Device Management (MDM) platform
• Deploy the MDM agent to corporate devices in the field and support employees through the migration process
• Configure and test the 0-Touch Deployment computer provisioning process and use it to provision new computers to employees

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Empathic communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues with a range of people such as power users, executives, remote employees, vendors, etc
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
• Diligence to continuously document all requests and project work
• Curiosity and an interest in asking questions, researching new solutions, and proposing alternative solutions
• Desired Experience
  • Operating Systems: Windows 10/11 & MacOS
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and systems

Work Schedule: The ideal candidate would be available starting after May 19 for 8 weeks, working 40 hours a week, with part-time remote availability following the internship during the school year. LineVision has a standard US holiday schedule, and up to a week of additional unpaid time off is permissible. Upon successful internship completion, you will be considered for a full-time position upon graduation.
Compensation: $18 per hour
