Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Information Systems Security Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to support USCYBERCOM's internal command IT systems and the Enterprise at large, to include one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems. We're looking for a solid cybersecurity professional to be a key contributor to that team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for an information system
Manage the security of the information system through Certification & Accreditation (C&A)
Support the information system owner for the completion of security related responsibilities.
Review System Security Plans (SSP) and solutions
Recommend security mechanism implementations
Evaluate and document the effectiveness of solutions implemented to provide the triad of confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university
5+ years of experience with cybersecurity or information assurance; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
One of following security certifications (active status): CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO - (minimum DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification)
Must know Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
