Information Security Analyst

Responsible for:

• Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Continuously monitor networks and systems for security breaches or anomalies using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools. Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents when they occur. 

• Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing: Run periodic security scans, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate penetration testing to identify and patch system weaknesses. 

• Access Control & Identity Management: Oversee access permissions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure least-privilege access. 

• Policy & Compliance Enforcement: Help establish security standards and operational procedures. Ensure systems adhere to industry compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). Participate in annual compliance activities.

• Customer Security Assessments: Coordinating with Sales, Customer Service Managers, Product Managers, and ISSM's in addressing customer security concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-5 years of professional work experience in technology field

• Strong working knowledge of common security control frameworks and certifications (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2)

• Knowledge of focused security control preferred (NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, DoD 8500.01, DHS 4300A)

• Professional certifications preferred (Security+ CE, CEH, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL)

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers

Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
