The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated person who will play a key role in effecting change in the context of Kyndryl’s transformation. As an Information Designer, you will provide creative storytelling, graphic, and video support to leaders in a global environment. You will use creativity to design concepts and innovative deliverables that help tell clear and compelling stories in various mediums and for various audiences. Your work products will include presentation designs, videos and animations, microsites, and journey murals that inspire our Kyndryl teams on the path of transformation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, or Advertising is preferred

• Has experience with Creative/Advertising/Journalism/Media studies or professional activities

• Has +5 years visual design experience with a portfolio in design, illustration, multi-media

• Is proficient in industry-standard graphic and video editing software tools, like Adobe CS (AI, IN, AE, MU, Premier Pro etc)

• Is proficient in the Microsoft Suite (MS SharePoint, PowerPoint) for digital/web and UX/UI design

• Brings original ideas and transform flat content into exciting digital and print deliverables that are relevant, appealing, modern, and consumable

• Can lead conversations with a multitude of requestors and stakeholders, in a constructive manner, to understand their vision and potential concerns/risks

• Is responsive to feedback and new ideas to meet goals and stakeholder needs

• Has the ability to conceptualize quickly and present in-progress work for critique to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high-level of quality and attention to detail

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Has Design Thinking and cocreation experience, focused on outcomes and is comfortable collaborating in a user-based, iterative approach to bring ideas into execution

• Has a strong desire to learn, improve and excel in the field

• Is driven to develop new best practices, tools and keeps up to date with news in design and storytelling

• Is familiar with and curious about IT services: Kyndryl strategy, Kyndryl services and solutions, and industry capabilities  

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $110,880 to $210,600 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.  For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$122,040 to $252,840

Colorado: $110,880 to $210,600

New York City: $133,080 to $252,840

Washington: $122,040 to $231,720

Washington DC:$122,040 to $231,720

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
