We’re looking for an ICT Designer to join our Buildings Government Services team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Technical day-to-day design of Telecommunications, Security and Audio Visual (A/V) construction documents with guidance from senior staff.
- Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents with emphasis on Technology requirements (Telecom, Security, A/V).
- Building expertise with the latest design software (Revit) and BIM modeling.
- Perform site condition surveys.
- Review contractor submittals.
- Routinely support multiple design teams (projects) and deliver results, managing your time and contributions effectively to meet varying deadlines.
- Produce quality work using technology and methodologies that create innovative approaches to building design.
- Travel for this position anticipated < 5% for cross-office collaboration and on-site client engagement.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Fundamental understanding of inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) telecommunications design.
- Thoroughness in design coordination and contract document development.
- Must be able to work independently and as a member of a multi-office technology systems group.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering ideal. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V) preferably supporting projects for clients in such building sectors as government, healthcare, higher education, mission critical, science & technology.
- Preferred certifications: BICSI RCDD, Avixa CTS or CTS-D, ASIS PSP, GIAC GSLC or ISC2 CISSP.

Skills Required
