We are looking for an experienced Informatica Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data integration and ETL solutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica, SQL, data warehousing, and performance optimization.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica.
- Develop mappings, mapplets, workflows, sessions, and reusable transformations.
- Work with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS).
- Gather technical requirements and translate business requirements into scalable data integration solutions.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including relational databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures and production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Optimize mappings and workflows for improved performance and scalability.
- Implement error handling, logging, restartability, and data quality checks.
- Participate in deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
- Work closely with data architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.
- 7+ years of experience in Informatica Development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Experience with Informatica IICS/IDMC is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
- Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema, Facts and Dimensions.
- Experience in performance tuning of Informatica mappings and workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Good understanding of SDLC and deployment processes.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP data platforms.
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Data Lake.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web-service integrations.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong ownership of deliverables and production issues.
