Informatica Administrator

Job Description:

Need to support Informatica Stack - Informatica PC, IDQ EDC, AXON, POWER EXCHANGE and IDMC. IDMC (Integrated Data Management and Coordination) Admin typically involves overseeing the management and coordination of data within an organization, ensuring its accessibility, integrity, security, and compliance.Resource must have 8+ years of Informatica Admin experience in Linux platforms.

• Installation & Configuration Informatica PC: Install and configure Informatica PowerCenter, Repository Service, and Integration Service.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor and tune the performance of Informatica jobs, workflows, and mappings for optimal efficiency.
• Migration & Upgrades: Manage version upgrades, migration of workflows and mappings between environments (Development, QA, Production).
• User Management: Create and manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within Informatica.
• Backup & Recovery: Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Informatica repositories and configurations.
• Monitoring & Support: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for Informatica-related queries.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts to ensure alignment and support for data integration initiatives.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with organizational policies regarding data governance.
• Good to have scripting Knowledge.
• Good to have cloud experience.
• Must have IDMC Experience in Migrating On prem PC  to IDMC cloud.
• Data Management/ Migration Planning and Strategy/ Cloud and IDMC Tools Selection/ Data Migration/ System Configuration and Optimization/ Cross-Functional Collaboration.

Work Environment

• Onsite in Plano, Texas
