Infor ERP Technical Consultant

Key responsibilities

ERP & Technical Solutions

· Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and support of Infor ERP solutions, including Infor M3, LN, and other Infor applications.

· Analyze business requirements and collaborate with functional consultants and customers to design and deliver technical solutions.

· Develop, customize, and support ERP extensions, interfaces, and integrations.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ERP applications, integrations, and custom developments.

· Support system upgrades, testing activities, deployments, and production support.

Integration & Automation

· Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Infor ION, Web Services, REST APIs, and other middleware technologies.

· Configure and support business workflows, process automation, and document flows within the Infor ecosystem.

· Assist in identifying opportunities to automate business processes using Infor Velocity, RPA, AI, and workflow technologies.

· Participate in proof-of-concepts and innovation initiatives focused on digital transformation and operational efficiency

Development & Technical Delivery

· Develop and maintain solutions using technologies such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, SQL, XML, and JSON.

· Create and maintain technical specifications, solution designs, process documentation, and knowledge articles.

· Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality delivery of solutions.

· Stay current with Infor product roadmaps, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· 1–4 years of experience working with Infor ERP solutions (M3, LN, Infor OS, ION) or comparable ERP platforms.

· Experience with system integrations, APIs, Web Services, REST services, JSON, XML, and related technologies.

· Programming experience in one or more of the following: Python, GitHub, Jupyter Notebook, Prompt Engineering, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or SQL.

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

· Strong customer focus and willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Infor ION, Infor OS, Workflow, API Gateway, MEC, or related Infor technologies.

· Exposure to cloud-based integrations and SaaS applications.

· Knowledge of AI, machine learning, automation platforms, or RPA technologies.

· Familiarity with Infor Velocity, GenAI, process mining, or digital transformation initiatives.

· Experience working in consulting or customer-facing environments.
