Project Scope
We are seeking a highly technical Healthcare IT Consultant with deep hands-on experience building and configuring INFINITT solutions within a hospital environment. This role will support the design, build, optimization, and implementation of imaging workflows and integrations, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational needs.
Position Summary
The INFINITT Consultant will serve as a hands-on technical resource responsible for end-to-end system build, workflow design, testing, and support of INFINITT PACS and imaging solutions. This role requires a highly independent consultant who can assess current-state environments, identify workflow gaps, recommend best practices, and execute system improvements across radiology and imaging operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead design, build, configuration, and optimization of INFINITT solutions in a hospital environment.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, radiology, imaging, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system build.
• Configure workflows, templates, rules, user roles, system settings, and interfaces within INFINITT.
• Build and optimize PACS workflows, imaging workflows, and modality integrations.
• Configure and support orders/results workflows, reporting, and worklists.
• Support HL7 and DICOM integrations across systems.
• Evaluate current-state workflows and identify opportunities for redesign and optimization.
• Partner with leadership and end users to implement workflow improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Develop and execute test scripts, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Support interface validation and coordination with EHRs and third-party systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including build documents, workflows, and procedures.
• Assist with training, knowledge transfer, and go-live support.
• Provide recommendations for long-term system optimization and stabilization.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of Healthcare IT experience in an acute care hospital or health system environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and configuring INFINITT solutions.
• Proven experience performing system build (not just support or project oversight).
• Strong knowledge of INFINITT PACS and imaging workflows.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces and DICOM standards.
• Strong understanding of radiology and imaging operations.
• Experience with system build, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with clinicians, leadership, and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting community or rural hospitals.
• Experience integrating INFINITT with EHR systems and third-party platforms.
• Experience with workflow redesign and optimization initiatives.
• Experience supporting radiology, cardiology, or enterprise imaging programs.
• Familiarity with interoperability and interface engines.
• Experience in consulting or contract-based environments.
