We are now looking for an Industry Technology Specialist – BioEnergy & Grain Processing to support customers across the Middle East & Africa region with deep technical expertise and hands-on problem solving.
The Role & Your Impact
As an Industry Technology Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers achieve optimal performance from Novonesis solutions. Acting as a trusted technical partner, you will support product adoption, lead field trials, and drive innovation-led improvements in grain processing, distilling, and bioenergy applications.
Your work will directly contribute to customer success, commercial growth, and the advancement of sustainable bio-based solutions in the region.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- A degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience within grain processing, distilling, ethanol, or bioenergy environments
- Strong technical knowledge of fermentation, enzymatic processes, milling, and/or biofuel applications
- Proven experience in leading field trials, troubleshooting process challenges, and analyzing technical data
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East & Africa region
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project execution capabilities
