The Industrial Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting facility expansion initiatives, production floor layout optimization, and continuous improvement activities. This role provides exposure to industrial engineering fundamentals, workflow analysis, lean methodologies, and project coordination. The intern will assist in evaluating current processes, developing layout proposals, collecting operational data, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout building and production-related projects.

- Assist in developing and optimizing production floor layouts to improve flow, safety, and efficiency.
- Support facility expansion planning through data collection, space analysis, and layout modeling.
- Help create technical documentation, including layout drawings, process maps, and standard work instructions.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation of layout changes and facility modifications.
- Support continuous improvement and initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Gain exposure to project management practices and cross-functional teamwork.
- Work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures, especially during on-floor assessments.
- Learn to interpret operational requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field..
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar) preferred.
