Required Skills
- General/Entry level financial knowledge to support operational planning (OP) and budget activities, tracking costs against targets, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Analyze operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel and optimization of product flow.
- Maintain Action Tracker and drive the team for closure of the actions
- Requesting operations team for Quality Gate details
- Representing Operations team in handover meetings.
- Identifying part / material shortages ahead to reduce the impact to factory.
- Modify SAP according to Travel work and maintain documentation.
- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, develops and implements optimized product flow.
- May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
- Develops and provides time standards to the shop floor as well as standard work for operations and processes.
- Utilizes analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization as well as line balancing.
- Performs trend analysis of shop performance measures (KPI) to identify risk and opportunities for improvements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of IE tools used in production: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
- Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
· US Citizen
· 2. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace or manufacturing engineering
· 3. 5 to 10 years working experience with ME & MRO activities in aerospace programs
