We are looking for an experienced Indirect Category Manager to build and lead our indirect spend management capability. This role will change how the company manages non-material spend; reducing risk, improving cost control, and creating visibility where little currently exists. It is a foundational position with significant opportunity to shape our long-term supply chain maturity.
Success Criteria:
A successful Indirect Category Manager operates as a senior individual contributor with broad cross-functional influence, thriving in an environment where processes are still evolving and structure must be built from the ground up. Success is demonstrated by establishing clear ownership and governance across all major indirect spend categories, creating transparency and visibility into previously fragmented or unmanaged spend, and delivering measurable cost savings and cost avoidance. The role is successful when repeatable sourcing and contracting processes are implemented, trusted partnerships are built with site and functional leaders, and a strong foundation is established for scalable, enterprise-wide indirect sourcing that supports long-term business objectives.

We offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $125,000 – 145,000 annually.
Preferred Qualifications- 10+ years of progressive experience in:
- Indirect procurement, sourcing, or category management and/or
- Supply chain, operations, or finance roles with significant indirect spend responsibility
- Proven experience building or formalizing processes, not just operating within mature systems
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing suppliers in indirect categories
Preferred:
- Indirect procurement or category management in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Operations or facilities leadership with ownership of services spend
- Finance or sourcing professionals who have led cost-reduction or spend-governance initiatives
- Consulting or transformation roles focused on procurement or operational efficiency
