Job Summary:
Looking for an experienced India High Touch Sales Trader who is passionate about markets, and has a strong desire to set and achieve challenging goals.
As an Executive Director / Vice President within the equity front office on the India High Touch Sales Trading team, you will be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment to execute client orders through both direct market access, algorithmic and block trading, in addition to providing sales trading coverage to clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for product development and IT initiatives. You will be managing execution, client servicing and sourcing of liquidity and manage all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis, research on index constituent changes, inbound and outbound trade processing and the design of optimal strategies for large trades. Tracking supply and demand, you constantly evaluate market developments to support clients’ trading strategies.

- Provide meaningful contribution to revenue and client franchise
- Leverage technology and analytics to drive client execution as well as idea generation
- Build a foundation of trust with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs and being responsive
- Demonstrate a high degree of competence around executing trades
- Understand market drivers, market moves, possess a thorough understanding of fundamental and technical aspects of market.
- Exhibit sound judgment under pressure, maintain composure through challenging trading environments and work with integrity
- Ensure all relevant parties (vertically and horizontally) are kept abreast of key developments; Provide a solution-based framework to business practice and clients; Take the initiative to make things better
- Understand the firm's approach and policies for managing risk and understand applicable legal and regulatory rules
- Be a strong team player. Actively engage with fellow sales traders, sales persons, research and banking partners to deliver the franchise to clients
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience gained within Sales Trading
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics, Mathematics or a related field
- Have the ability to balance analytical and technical skill set with proven instinct
- Ability to discuss in detail your understanding of the various market variables and their impacts on products (pricing, flows etc.)
- Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, both verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity and target messages to different audiences.

Skills Required
