We produce cutting-edge, objective research on how businesses and finance impact the climate crisis, working collaboratively across the corporate, finance, public, civil society, and media sectors.

InfluenceMap is best known for its LobbyMap platform, which analyzes corporate advocacy and policy engagement activities related to climate change and nature. Our work has been featured in the media globally, used by hundreds of investors, and informed numerous climate campaigns. Other workstreams include the FinanceMap platform, which assesses the climate credentials of the financial sector, and the Carbon Majors platform, which tracks emissions from the world’s largest polluters. With offices in London, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, and Brussels, we are a team of 75 professionals shaping the climate and nature agendas worldwide.

About the Role

We are seeking an India Engagement Manager, based in Delhi, to accelerate our growing engagement work across the country. This is our first hire in India. It is a chance to help shape how corporate climate advocacy is understood and addressed there.

The role begins with learning. You will build a deep understanding of our content, our platform methodologies, and our existing India research. You will then spend time with our UK-based team, including a visit of around two weeks, to understand where we are with our networks, engagements, and plans for India. From there, you will build on this foundation. You will deepen relationships in the country and bring our research to the stakeholders who can act on it.

At present, we have several country and sector analysts based in the UK working on our India program. Our existing research sits on our India platform (india.influencemap.org), from which content reaches stakeholders across the corporate, finance, policy, and civil society sectors. You will be the first member of what we expect to become a thriving InfluenceMap presence in India.
