About Team:
The Payments Intelligence team optimizes billions of payments through advanced analytics and machine learning. We build and operate a real-time data platform that powers revenue growth, fraud prevention, and enhanced customer experiences across Payments, Directed Spend, Checkout, and promotions. Our team is responsible for developing and deploying ML models that improve payment authorization rates, strengthen payment resiliency, and increase the effectiveness of promotions and rewards programs. We also drive adoption of Directed Spend by providing actionable insights.
Our team supports cross divisional programs for Transactional Systems as a part of the Global Tech organization.
What you'll do:
We are looking for a Product Manager who has the passion to lead and direct large-scale, complex, multi-year product and data/ML roadmaps across organizations, executives, stakeholders, with the ability to influence partner teams, data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers. A successful candidate will have an established background in launching software or services, hands on data science, AI, ML, technical background or experience driving technical products, an entrepreneurial background, and a passion for great customer-centric online products.
Your work will have direct impact on Walmart’s top-line revenue and bottom-line profit and you will have a direct impact on the business goals of Fortune #1 company. This role also offers a unique opportunity to innovate and improve on ways to use Walmart’s e-comm & omni-channel products like Scan & Go, Walmart Stores and external data to solve problems.

- 10+ years of relevant work in technical product management, owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple technology teams.
- Experience in payments or retail or financial services industry as technical product manager.
- Experience in building data products leveraging data science (AI and ML) – revenue growth, customer success, risk management.
- Passion for technology, willingness to dive deep into the technical products Walmart is building, and commitment to learning and expanding technical knowledge
- An understanding of ML platforms, large-scale systems, and service-oriented architecture
- Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and convincingly to a wide range of audiences., manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Ability to dig into data and story tell based on the analysis. Build compelling business cases and ROIs and proactively drive business insights and optimizations.
- Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- You are passionate, driven, and humble in your approach. Communicate program plans, status, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Work with engineering, business and products team members across multiple geographies and time-zones.

- Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing implementation milestones, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
- Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
- Being Decisive regarding expanding or shutting parts of the imagery operation based on business need and efficiency.
- Accomplished degree in BE/Btech/MBA/MTech/MS and minimum 10 years ofproduct management, leading product or solution development and gathering, identifying, defining, and communicating requirements.
- Two years of successful execution in a matrixed organization
- Ability and willingness to think and act strategically and tactically
