Job Requisition: Inbound2Outbound Project Specialist – Novonesis Labelling Roadmap
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Specialist to secure the development and implementation of Novonesis future Label Management System and the subsequent label roadmap. This role is critical to ensure a holistic view of the project execution and solution design, by challenging status quo and facilitating our project activities in an efficient manner.
As a key player in this project, you will facilitate workshops to enable effective communication between systems, stakeholders, and developers while contributing to the development of the Loftware Cloud solution. Positioned between the Production, Supply Chain, Regulatory, IT, and Commercial organizations, your role will involve aligning requirements, collaborating with technical teams, testing solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery from inception to go-live and roll-out.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interface Coordination Between SAP S/4 HANA and Loftware Cloud
Lead the design, coordination, and implementation of interfaces between SAP S/4 HANA and the Loftware Cloud Label System.
Define and document the data model required for multiple label formats and ensure it aligns with business and system needs.
Oversee the configuration of SAP as the trigger for label printing, ensuring robust communication between systems via middleware such as Boomi.
2. Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Engagement
Define clear workshop objectives, supporting the critical path of the project execution.
Organize and facilitate workshops to align business processes and technical requirements for label printing across global operations.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, IT enterprise teams, and Boomi integration specialists to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project goals.
Communicate effectively with technical label developers and other stakeholders to address challenges and ensure timely resolution of issues.
3. Requirements Gathering and Prioritization
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for label printing workflows.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT development teams and technical label developers.
Ensure that all requirements align with the company’s global labelling strategy and compliance standards.
4. Testing and Validation
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to define and execute test cases for the integrated solution, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot any issues arising during the testing phase.
Ensure the solution meets business requirements and is ready for deployment.
5. End-to-End Project Participation
Actively participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including:
Development of the Loftware Cloud software solution for global label printing.
System integration, testing, and validation.
Go-live preparations, roll-out activities, and post-implementation support.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in coordinating system integrations, particularly between SAP S/4 HANA and external cloud-based platforms.
Strong understanding of labelling systems (e.g., Loftware or similar) and their integration with ERP systems.
Experience with middleware tools, such as Boomi or equivalent integration platforms.
Knowledge of SAP processes, including data models, label printing triggers, and master data management.
Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to gather and prioritize requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables for IT and development teams.
Experience in testing methodologies, including developing test scenarios, conducting UAT, and validating system integrations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with global labelling standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience working with cloud-based solutions for label printing in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Prior involvement in large-scale SAP implementation projects or digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
Certification in SAP S/4 HANA or relevant modules is a plus.
