Imports and Exports Lead

As an Imports and Exports Lead, you will control and manage the operational team within the logistics of supply both for raw materials and finished products, and corresponding samples, within the established budget, to meet the program on time and in the proper form, guaranteeing the delivery service to supplies, logistics, and purchases of MROS, complying with current national and international legislation for customs clearance, mitigating fiscal risks to us, and coordinating national and international transport logistics in the different modalities of maritime, air, and land.

This position reports to the Import and Export Manager

Responsibilities

• Control the Import and Export operations to contract and control international transportation (air, sea, and land), and the freight forwarders and Customs Agents through the customs of the Country.

• Implement and improve the logistics network of PMC and MROs, spare parts, and equipment, coordinating and controlling national and international logistics suppliers to ensure supply within budget to comply with the program of each of the involved areas.

• Comply with the current legislation regarding Foreign Trade inherent to the operation of the company to avoid sanctions, fines or suspension of operations. Addressing the authority's requirements promptly.

• Request the monetary funds required for the payment of import and export taxes for the companies involved, to accounts payable and Treasury promptly to ensure payment and guarantee the delivery of products based on the requirements of each area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, International Relations

• Minimum 3 years' experience

• Advanced knowledge in Supply Chain, process analysis, INCOTERMS, Foreign Trade, tariff classification, international treaties.

• Experience in regulations for the transport of dangerous goods

• English B2 - Intermedium - Advanced
