Import / Export Analyst

As a Import/Export Analyst, you will guide and improve international trade operations. You will use advanced customs mechanisms and trade programs to ensure seamless, compliant, and cost-effective import/export processes. These processes directly support business continuity and competitive advantage.

You will report to International Commerce Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Use international trade facilitation schemes to improve import costs through treaties and trade programs.

• Maintain full compliance with customs regulations to mitigate penalty risks.

• Ensure all import procedures align with current legal requirements.

• Use international trade agreements to maximize tariff advantages.

• Perform accurate customs valuations to prevent fiscal exposure.

• Oversee multi-modal import operations across sea, land, and air transportation.

• Coordinate permit applications and renewals with regulatory authorities.

• Maintain accurate records in international trade management systems.

• Apply proper Incoterms and classification codes for customs documentation.

• Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and non-tariff barriers.

• Manage VUCEM platform operations and Annex 22 compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/International Trade

• 5 years of experience in International Trade with merchandise import operations management

• Knowledge of import promotion programs and trade optimization schemes

• Advanced English proficiency

• Current expertise in Customs Law, import promotion and optimization programs

• Advanced Excel skills

• One Source System experience
