Responsibilities:
- Proficient in implementing and onboarding clients while aligning with our Client Engagement Model and providing necessary support.
- Actively identifies opportunities for improvement and takes the lead in implementing solutions within the role or team.
- Offers guidance to peers regarding industry knowledge, while also developing a strong understanding of Clearwater-specific assumptions and functionality.
- Understands and applies Clearwater's core value proposition (aggregate, reconcile, report) in a broad context and is developing expertise in at least one specific market/regulatory regime (e.g., IM, US insurance, Solvency II, Local GAAP, Canadian insurance).
- Comfortable with financial accounting and Investment statements, including using dashboards, report manager, formulas, advanced grouping, and filtering.
- Familiar with Clearwater's core offering of Accounting, Compliance, Risk, and Performance reports and is in the early stages of building a repertoire of user stories.
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with a global team to resolve problems and address client inquiries accurately and efficiently.
- Shares knowledge by designing and implementing training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while also influencing thought leadership and contributing to whitepapers.
- Serves as a trusted client advocate and a confident advisor to clients.
Required skills:
- Beginner skills in project management tools (Monday.com, Salesforce, JIRA), and Clearwater. tools/skills associated with area of expertise (e.g., asset classes, accounting).
- Knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures.
- knowledge Equities, Fixed Income, and structured products.
- Proven history of proficient Excel use.
- Dynamic problem-solving skills, and an innate sense of curiosity.
- Securities or financial markets experience, especially involving derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income.
- Experience with General Ledger systems (e.g., Workday, Peoplesoft) and period-end closing processes.
- Project management & Leadership skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- Certified Bachelors/master's course in Finance or Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in related field.
