Role Summary

The Implementation Manager / Coordinator serves as the central coordination point for trading partner implementation projects within TPDM. This individual is responsible for tracking all deliverables across internal teams and external partners, maintaining implementation schedules, surfacing risks, and driving accountability through to on-time delivery. This is a high-visibility, fast-paced role that requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to quickly learn a complex technical and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation Coordination: Own the end-to-end coordination thread for trading partner onboarding and change implementations. Track completion of business requirements, technical build milestones, and delivery handoffs across ETL, EDI, and Project teams.

• Cross-Team Communication: Serve as the connective tissue between internal pillars (ETL, EDI, Delivery, and Business) and external trading partners. Facilitate regular status touchpoints, document decisions, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on scope, timeline, and dependencies.

• Schedule & Backdate Planning: Work backward from committed go-live dates to build realistic implementation plans. Identify critical path items and proactively flag timeline risks before they become delivery issues.

• Risk Identification & Escalation: Monitor implementation health across active workstreams. Surface blockers, gaps, and risks early; escalate appropriately to the TPDM Director or pillar leads when issues require intervention.

• Status Reporting: Maintain implementation status trackers and provide regular progress updates to TPDM leadership and stakeholders. Ensure documentation is current and accessible.

• Partner Relationship Support: Coordinate directly with external trading partners as needed to confirm readiness, gather requirements, and communicate timelines. Represent TPDM professionally in partner-facing communications.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a project management, implementation management, or program coordination role

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable interfacing with both technical teams and external business partners

• Experience working in or adjacent to healthcare IT, data integration, or EDI environments (preferred but not required)

• Experience working within an agile framework

• Proficiency with project tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)

• Self-starter with a bias toward action — able to get up to speed quickly with minimal hand-holding

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training a plus
