We are seeking a mid-level Immersive Technology Specialist to bridge the gap between clients, development team, and product teams in the conceptualization and execution of AR/VR/XR experiences. This role requires a blend of creative problem-solving and a deep understanding of emerging hardware and software capabilities. The ideal candidate will assist in designing immersive experiences, ensuring alignment between client expectations and development feasibility while staying at the forefront of immersive technology trends.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, Project managers, designers, and development leadership to conceptualize and refine AR/VR/XR software experiences.
- Assist in defining technical requirements, user experience flows, and content strategies for immersive applications.
- Maintain a working knowledge of development platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine, ensuring technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Research and evaluate emerging AR/VR hardware, identifying opportunities for innovative applications.
- Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders, translating creative visions into actionable development plans.
- Conduct usability testing and provide feedback to optimize performance and user experience.
- Support project teams by troubleshooting technical challenges and exploring new solutions.
- Clearly communicate complex technical concepts in English, both verbally and in writing. to diverse stakeholders.
- 2-5 years of experience in AR/VR/XR product design, development, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other immersive development platforms.
- Strong understanding of VR headsets, AR glasses, motion tracking, haptics, and related hardware.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with 3D modeling, UI/UX design, or scripting (C#, Python, or similar) is a plus.
- Passion for emerging technology and the future of immersive experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no direction.
- Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective collaboration with international teams and clients.
- Previous experience in interactive media, game design, or enterprise XR solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, networking, and multiplayer XR applications.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers, engineers, and clients.
We offer a hybrid work scheme, providing a balance between collaboration and individual focus with 2 days in our office located in Palermo, CABA, and 3 days working remotely.
