Why We Need You

You will be joining a company in the midst of a significant IT transformation.

As part of the Performance, Transformation & Technology team, you will play a central role within our business application ecosystem, primarily across the Finance, Procurement, and Project Management domains.

You will contribute to the smooth operation of the applications within your scope and participate in their evolution to improve performance and better meet user needs. Working closely with business teams, integrators, and software vendors, you will be involved in incident management, change tracking, and continuous improvement projects. You will also support users in adopting and making the most of our applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Configuration Management for our IFS ERP and related applications:

- Assist and advise on the use of the application systems under your responsibility

- Ensure the quality and operational performance of the solutions you manage

- Coordinate corrective, preventive, and evolutionary maintenance

Application Service Quality Management:

- Apply and enforce established standards, methods, and tools

- Keep the application landscape up to date (components, data flows, etc.)

- Ensure knowledge continuity and publish business procedures and technical notes in our knowledge base

- Broadly monitor the quality of service across technology solutions, identify gaps, and track continuous improvement initiatives

Communication and Support:

- Act as the primary point of contact between the IT department and business users within your scope

- Prioritise and resolve Level 1 and 2 support requests on a daily basis for your applications

- Escalate requests to software vendors and/or integrators when necessary, ensuring incidents and issues are followed through to full resolution

- Serve as a key liaison with our technical infrastructure team to maintain operational readiness of solutions (security, access management, scalability, performance, etc.)

- Bring a coherent vision of business processes to the table and constructively challenge requests for additional configuration

Business Analysis:

You will contribute to writing functional and technical specifications to evolve the configurations within our application ecosystem. A solid techno-functional understanding of our ERP ecosystem is therefore required — including reference data, application interfaces, and data exchange flows.

Your Future Team

You will be joining a team of 22 people spread across France, whose members will be delighted to welcome you and share their varied experiences and expertise.

Lakshmi, your future manager, is the Application Programme Manager, and Herizo, your future Director, is a member of the Executive Committee. He holds a high level of professional standards and will actively support and recognise your contributions. Joining Mexens' Performance, Transformation and Technology Department means investing in a long-term career development plan within a department set to grow from two to around ten internal team members by 2035.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. Master's would be a plus.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing the IFS ERP platform from a technical standpoint, complemented by solid functional knowledge.

Ideally, you have worked within a fast-growing mid-sized company or a large international group of several thousand employees.

Key Knowledge and Skills Required

- ERP management, with specific expertise in the IFS product

- Exposure to SaaS solutions across the following domains:

  • Payments and treasury management

  • Tax reporting

  • Document digitalisation and processing

  • Similar solutions that complement an ERP through application interfaces (APIs)

- Software lifecycle management (agile and/or hybrid)

- Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing): Ability to write support tickets for international stakeholders and leads meetings.

- A genuine ability to understand expressed needs and reformulate them clearly — both in writing and verbally — for diverse audiences, including Procurement and Finance teams

- Your manager will expect you to be autonomous, structured, humble, with a strong sense of priorities and team spirit

Conditions

A competitive salary and an opportunity to work at a young, entrepreneurial, and a growing company, with plenty of room for your own initiatives and ideas.
