Our client, a leading global reinsurer, is continuing to strengthen its presence in Asia and is seeking to appoint an Actuarial Analyst (IFRS 17) based in Singapore.
As part of the Property & Casualty team and reporting directly to the Reserving Actuary, you will play a key role in reserve calculations and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing reserving studies and benchmarking to establish robust, market-aligned reserving bases.
Supporting the actuarial aspects of IFRS reporting, including data input validation, detailed analysis, and preparation of results explanations.
Partnering with regional and global colleagues to contribute to strategic projects and business initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with:
A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in either Property & Casualty (P&C) or Life & Health (L&H) within insurance or reinsurance.
Familiarity with IFRS and/or statutory reporting requirements (preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and commercial mindset, able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
