Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

We’re scaling our IAM capabilities to create seamless, secure, automated access experiences. As an IAM Engineer at CLEAR, you’ll develop innovative solutions that balance security and ease of use, working with cutting-edge technologies in cloud, automation, and access governance.

What you'll do:

• Automate IAM processes to reduce friction and eliminate manual bottlenecks in user lifecycle management (from onboarding to offboarding)
• Partner with product owners and engineering teams to develop identity provisioning features such as access termination, birthright provisioning, and access request fulfillment
• Assess and implement leading IAM tools, including identity governance (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), and cloud-native IAM solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Collaborate with IAM and Cybersecurity teams to enhance access authorization and integrate with other IAM technologies
• Provide operational support for IAM systems, diagnosing and resolving issues across various platforms

How you'll measure success:

• Reduced manual access-related tasks through automation
• Improved MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) for access-related incidents
• Increased compliance audit efficiency through streamlined identity governance

What you're great at:

• 1-3 years of experience in Identity and Access Management
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java (PowerShell and C++ also considered)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Strong knowledge of API standards (SCIM, SOAP, REST) and authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
• Hands-on experience with modern IGA solutions like SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta Workflows
• Experience provisioning to cloud and on-prem directory stores
• Direct experience deploying or managing PAM solutions (CyberArk, Delinea, AWS Secrets Manager)

The base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
