The Identity & Access Management Analyst position is a Cybersecurity and Identity Management focused role within Kimball Electronics Shared Services (KESS) that reports to the Senior Manager of IT Operations. This is a global position that will be responsible for developing and implementing identity and access management solutions across the enterprise globally. To be successful, the candidate must possess:
- a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple priorities and projects and effectively transform business needs into technical solutions.
- a degree from an accredited university or college or have at least 5 years overall work experience in identity and access management and information security.
The preferred candidate will have experience or qualifications with the following:
- Windows, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and LDAP
- Experience configuring Multi-factor Authentication and Single-sign-on
- Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Identity Management and associated components
- Information Security, Network Systems, and/or Unix/Linux experience considered a plus.
- Administrative and troubleshooting skills, knowledgeable about architecture, engineering and design principles.
- Special consideration given to candidates possessing information security certifications and project management experience.

Key Performance Objectives:
Short Term (0-6 months):
- Learn KEI Guiding Principles, philosophies, and cultural attributes.
- Develop technical relationships with key IT contacts.
- Build and maintain business relationships with Business Unit contacts.
- Learn KEI standards, procedures, and processes to uncover, resist and recover from security incidents in alignment with enterprise ISMS.
- Learn our current system and processes to develop strategies for future protection with applications and resources across the corporate data center and cloud services.
- Develop skills in role based access control within Azure AD that provides SSO and MFA for SAML apps.
- Research processes to optimize standardization while maintaining roles utilizing tools available.
- Researching ways to improve and simplify the process for all stakeholders, including users, security coordinators, and business owners.
- Research and Develop skills for Azure functionality to simplify processes related to maintenance, reporting, and provisioning of roles.
- Assisting alongside with SOC and Data Stewards to provide overall access management administration, including onboarding access support, position transfers, offboarding, and access reviews of individuals and IT resources (including enterprise password vaults, session tokens, server certificates, integration users, etc.).
- Develops access requests procedures and process, and apply standard IT, Audit, and Security standards and methodologies before taking requested action.
- Research and Develop cybersecurity disciplines and methodologies, such as cloud security provider access management, role-based access control methodology, privileged access management capabilities and solutions, and identify provider provisioning (including directories or federation services).
- Works with SOC personnel resolving level 2 access-related issues and incidents for customers.
- Researches and assists in root cause analysis on specified incidents to mitigate similar issues from occurring. Documents appropriate detail in change request tickets and tracking systems.
Mid to Long Term (6 + months):
- Develop systems and processes to protect access to applications and resources across the corporate data center and into the cloud.
- Implement role-based access control role engineering using Azure AD that provides SSO and Multi-factor authentication for SAML apps.
- Define methodology and prioritization for reengineering roles based on the business analysis
- Work with data stewards and data owners to analyze user access related to job functions to standardize access within business roles.
- Implement processes to optimize standardization and maintain roles utilizing tools available.
- Improve/simplify the process for all stakeholders, including users, security coordinators, and business owners.
- Communicate best practices related to RBAC to the security coordinator/business community
- Maximizes Azure functionality to simplify processes related to maintenance, reporting, and provisioning of roles
- Responsible for working with SOC and Data Stewards to provide overall access management administration, including onboarding access support, position transfers, offboarding, and access reviews of individuals and IT resources (including enterprise password vaults, session tokens, server certificates, integration users, etc.).
- Develops access requests procedures and process, and apply standard IT, Audit, and Security standards and methodologies before taking requested action.
- Maintains familiarity with cybersecurity disciplines and methodologies, such as cloud security provider access management, role-based access control methodology, privileged access management capabilities and solutions, and identify provider provisioning (including directories or federation services).
- Works with SOC personnel resolving level 2 access-related issues and incidents for customers.
- Performs root cause analysis on specified incidents to mitigate similar issues from occurring. Documents appropriate detail in change request tickets and tracking systems.
- Participate in Special Projects as well as Cybersecurity Council and Enterprise Computing Team meetings

The typical pay range for this role is: $55,000 - $70,000
the actual wages offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
