The Role

As our ICT Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing GoSpooky’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure daily operations. You will oversee all software, hardware, and tooling, proactively managing security, GDPR and ISO compliance, and IT-related office matters. This role requires a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to support Spookies effectively while continuously improving IT processes.

This is a fulltime, on-site position in our Amsterdam office. You will collaborate closely with the IT Coordinator. 

What you’ll do

• Manage and maintain all IT-related tools, software, and hardware
• Advise on and facilitate the purchase of new IT tooling
• Oversee asset registration and documentation
• Ensure data security, system protection, and compliance with GDPR and ISO standards
• Provide IT support and guidance to all Spookies, ensuring they have the right tools for their work
• Prepare and oversee the onboarding of new colleagues
• In absence of the IT coordinator monitor and IT infrastructure, preventing interference or downtime
• ICT-related office matters, including desk setups and facility-related IT needs
• Co administer with the IT coordinator and maintain key platforms such as Google products, Productive, Bamboo, Slack, and other internal systems
• Provide IT onboarding sessions to new employees

What we’re looking for

• Have an HBO-level education in IT and 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in Dutch and also English
• Have strong knowledge of Mac, Google products, and IT tooling
• Have a proactive, hands-on mentality and a keen eye for innovation and efficiency
• This role requires daily on-site presence, so we are ideally looking for candidates who live within a reasonable distance from the office to ensure reliable and convenient commuting
• Work independently but is also a team player when providing IT support
• Can assess IT risks effectively and ensure secure, interference-free operations
• Able to collaborate with external parties, such as vendors
