SUMMARY: This position will have the responsibility to provide support to the iCARE program's internal efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
  • Plan, research, implement, and evaluate community related initiatives and events
  • Participate in the development of communications and related documentation that educates and advances employee awareness of iCARE program activities
  • Assist with managing and promoting all iCARE programs
  • Increase internal participation in iCARE related activities
  • Serve as a liaison between the iCARE council, iCARE ambassadors and bank personnel.
  • Work as a member of the team, willingly providing backup support for co-workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION
Associate's Degree or 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent organization skills (able to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and execute) and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to produce well thought‐out, professional correspondence
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent relationship builder; able to demonstrate a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Must also demonstrate ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information
  • Ambition, a strong work ethic, and an earnest willingness to learn
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment is a must
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and work in a team-based environment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Candidates residing in locations within BankUnited's footprint may be given preference.
