The Role
The Quality Assurance and Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing both the quality assurance and inventory control departments, ensuring the effective management of inventory and adherence to quality standards within the distribution center. Reporting to the Inventory and Quality Assistant Manager, this position collaborates with various stakeholders to optimize operational performance and maintain high-quality standards.
Your Impact

Supervise the inventory control workforce, including performance evaluation, scheduling, and development initiatives.

Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of inventory control activities, including reconciling stock counts to reports.

Conduct daily inventory analysis to identify and resolve inventory challenges promptly.

Coordinate cycle count programs and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls and internal audit requirements.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors as necessary to support inventory control measures.

Execute and monitor all quality assurance programs, including 2.5 AQL Single Sampling Plan Inspections for incoming shipments.

Maintain inspection data, including collection, recording, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Communicate inspection status and results with stakeholders, addressing any deviations from quality standards promptly.

Supervise inspectors and ensure calibration between inspectors to maintain consistent quality assurance standards.

Maintain libraries for all specifications and confirmation samples to support quality assurance processes.

Solid English language skills in both oral and written communication, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish being advantageous.

Possesses good people and management skills, with a proven ability to coach and organize projects with staff.

Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting written instructions, including safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure manuals.

Demonstrates proficiency in core computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.

Exhibits strong self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
