About Ferric, Inc.

Ferric is a technology startup based in New York City that is pioneering an entirely new approach to power delivery for Integrated Circuits and Electronic Assemblies. This approach leverages Ferric’s integration of thin-film magnetic inductors with CMOS technology to enable a significant improvement in the integration density and efficiency of voltage regulators (VRs) compared with current commercially available technologies.

About the role

As a Ferric IC Product Engineer, you will gain exposure to the full product-life of Ferric’s ICs by working with a diverse cross-functional team including IC designers, test & application engineers, assembly team, vendors, the fab, and our customers.  Product Engineers spearhead our product engineering activities within the exciting field of power ICs. In this role, reporting to the VP Operations, you will work in a fast-paced environment to develop, characterize, qualify and production-release Ferric’s power management IC’s. We are seeking a dedicated hands-on engineer with extensive proven experience in product development, characterization, product qualification, package qualification, new product introduction to production, manufacturing sustaining, yield analysis, yield enhancement, and product failure analysis.

What you'll do

  • Work with IC design and test teams to create and review test plans, including providing recommendations for DFT & DFQ, test & debug visibility, etc
  • Work with manufacturing and process engineering team to develop, characterize new assembly processes
  • Characterization of products across PVT on ATE and bench
  • ATE to bench correlation and establishment of ATE production test limits
  • Disposition of Wafer sort and Final test
  • Design of reliability hardware
  • Support and execute product qualification
  • Yield enhancement
  • Support engineering team with NPI
  • Analysis of RMA Customer returns and root cause analysis
  • Bench-level testing, characterization, and debug of full ICs and IC sub-systems
