Job Title: IBM DataStage Administrator

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataStage Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our enterprise ETL environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in administering DataStage 11.x, ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and smooth operations across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain IBM DataStage environments across Dev, QA, and Production.
Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and migration of DataStage components.
Monitor ETL job performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot platform issues, job failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Manage user security, roles, and access controls.
Optimize server and engine tier configurations to ensure maximum throughput.
Collaborate with development teams for deployment and release management.
Implement backup, recovery, and DR strategies for the DataStage ecosystem.
Generate system health reports and proactively identify problem areas.
Required Skills & Experience
7–8 years of hands-on experience administering IBM DataStage.
Strong understanding of DataStage architecture (Engine Tier, Services Tier).
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and automation.
Knowledge of IBM Information Server Suite.
Experience with SSL, LDAP integration, and security configurations.
Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M preferred).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
