Job Description
As an IAM (Internal Asset Manager) Support Specialist, you will deliver vital administrative support and assist with day-to-day client relationship activities. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to improve IAM desk processes and procedures, serving as the main point of contact for Client Relationship Officers (CROs) and Account Managers across various critical workflows. Your position will be central to upholding strong standards in compliance, quality assurance, and business development within our IAM Switzerland team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for daily client relationship matters, assisting CROs, and Account Managers in their day-to-day activities.
- Act as the main contact for CROs/Account Managers regarding:
– Pre-approval or approval (within delegations) of payments, credits, and client/IAM openings and closings.
– Reviewing the quality of client and IAM profiles and documentation during onboarding and regular reviews. - Perform ex-ante controls on Private Banking activities and support the enhancement of the control framework.
- Oversee and approve KYC lifecycle events, including reviewing and commenting on Client Information Profiles for account openings, periodic reviews, and updates.
- Monitor compliance and follow up on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) matters.
- Serve as a link between the First and Second Line of Defence, facilitating communication and compliance.
- Support the Head of IAM Switzerland in business development, analysis, and improving process efficiency and productivity in collaboration with relevant functional areas.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IAM Switzerland's processes and procedures
Skills and experience
- At least 3 of experience in a regulatory compliance or private banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations and sanctions.
- Fluent in English. German is an advantage; French and/or Italian would be an asset.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Reliable, solution-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Demonstrates a client and service focus at all times.
