About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hydrology & Drainage Engineer – Design Reviewer to join a major highway infrastructure project in Timor-Leste. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing hydrological studies, drainage systems, flood management measures, and related infrastructure designs prepared by the Design-Build Contractor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with expertise in Hydrology and Drainage systems or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 15 years of cumulative experience in Civil Engineering with expertise in hydrology and drainage systems and thereof a minimum of 10 years related to final design of drainages for Highway roads or large road projects.
- Have served in a similar capacity on at least 2 Highway Road projects of similar nature.
- Preferably a full-time employee of the PMC since at least 2 years.
- Fluency in written and spoken form of English is mandatory.
- Responsible for reviewing the hydrological studies, hydraulic analysis, existing drainages, drainage system and drainage design, in conformance with the DBF Contract.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with expertise in hydrology and drainage systems, or equivalent
- At least 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience
- At least 10 years of experience with final drainage design for highway roads or large road projects
- Experience serving in a similar capacity on at least two comparable highway road projects
- Full-time employee of the project management consultant for at least two years
- Fluency in written and spoken English
