Job Overview:
We are looking for a Hybrid QA Analyst for our new Global Delivery Center in Manila in, the Philippines. The Manila operation will be a strategically important large-scale production hub that services all of our global hubs. The Digital QA Analyst supports the Digital production and development teams in ensuring quality deliverables of all digital production assets and oversees brand consistency requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Creating and executing manual tests for web applications. Provides release notes and release readiness reports
- Openly participating in continuous practice improvement and opening defect tickets with clear, detailed explanations and instructions to reproduce
- Proactively self-managing own tasks in view of the larger QA effort as well as other required QA deliverables
- Proactively raising risks and potential issues that could block or delay testing activities. Report testing status and progress against the testing plan to the project team and Senior QA or QA Lead
- Test types include functional, integration, visual, sanity and regression. Preferably can execute functional tests created by QA Engineers
Qualifications:
- Digital experience:
- Preferably with 1-3 years of testing experience for software quality assurance / manual testing, web and e-commerce applications, CMS, and CRM.
- Preferably with 1-3 years of testing experience for Online Banners and Advertisement
- Experience using defect tracking systems such as JIRA or similar application
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall approach desired
- Web application testing experience strongly preferred
- Online standard banners or rich media banners (Doubleclick Studio, Flashtalking, Adform, Google ads, or anything similar)
- Attention to technicalities in terms of ad specs
- Visual content (spelling, images used, etc.)
- Functionality of ad banner
- Video content verification
- Attention/familiarity to Media instructions
- Attention to inconsistencies with the material aside from checking ad specs
- Print Experience
- MAC literate
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and its annotation tools
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Ability to proofread and mark up on screen
- Organized, proactive with good communication skills both verbal and written
- Extensive knowledge of print production and print-ready artwork
- Nice to have experience:
- Advantage with 1-3 years in testing at least one of the following platforms: (Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Marketing Cloud, Demand ware, Sitecore, Drupal, Magento, AEM)
- Advantage with experience with test case management tools as Zephyr, Testlink, Redmine, Google Forms, Confluence
- Experienced in Test plan preparation and tasks scheduling based on the project timeline
Experienced in providing daily and weekly status report to project team
