About the Role
As a Hybrid Editor, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping HelloFresh's video content for YouTube, seamlessly blending creative storytelling with technical expertise. You will be responsible for editing diverse video projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement. If you’re passionate about crafting compelling narratives and have a keen understanding of YouTube content creation, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Edit, assemble, and enhance video content from various sources to create cohesive and engaging pieces for YouTube.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the vision of each project is brought to life through innovative editing techniques.
- Maintain an understanding of YouTube best practices, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
- Optimise video files for different formats and specifications, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Assist in the integration of graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance the storytelling experience.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to production teams on filming techniques and content best practices for efficient editing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools in video editing and content creation.
About YouThe essentials:
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects and other editing software.
- Understanding of video file pipelining and the ability to deliver optimised content for YouTube.
- Strong storytelling skills, with an ability to craft engaging narratives through editing.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Experience with CGI workflows and sound/color editing.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in both English and German.
