About the department
At Novo Nordisk (NN) we are experiencing a rapid growth in sales over the recent years and along with the wide range of new products to be launched, we are re-enforcing our production capability world-wide.
As our Koriyama Factory (KFA) is also expanding its workforce, this exciting opportunity is now available for an HVAC Engineer, KFA in Japan to join one of the largest scale projects of the factory expansion (expanding the building, not just the equipment) by collaborating with the team members. Also, ensuring high level of compliance with all the internal and external regulations/requirements in all activities and readiness for new product launches as per defined milestones.
The position
As a Project HVAC Engineer, the role involves spearheading facility expansion projects with expertise in HVAC systems. Emphasis is placed on promoting KFA facility expansion for future-fit opportunities and products while integrating new technologies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, adopting a "Circular for Zero" approach for sustainability, and complying to NNWay, Essentials, and Triple Bottom Line principles are integral to the expansion process. Other role expectations are as follows:

  • Be responsible for the HVAC design of new facilities, collaborating with colleagues in Denmark and design suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and requirements for facility expansion activities.
  • Review and evaluate HVAC designs and estimates from suppliers.
  • Manage stakeholders, especially facility and equipment suppliers.
  • Ensure readiness for new product launches according to defined milestones.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Work experience at least 3 years in HVAC facility engineering.
  • Experience in HVAC system validation.
  • Experience in large-scale improvement activities.
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency, verbal or written and/or advanced level of Japanese.
