Position Overview: Altus Engineering, partnered with Davis Defense Group (DDG) is seeking a Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer, to provide support for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Program Manager Motor Transportation (PM MT).

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of ground vehicle system requirements across all HSI domains, including:
- Human Factors Engineering
- Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT)
- Safety and Occupational Health
- Force Protection and Survivability
- Ergonomics & Usability
- Optimize human performance to enhance total system effectiveness and reduce system ownership costs.
- Consider the complete system lifecycle, including mission equipment, operators, maintainers, support personnel, training systems, and support infrastructure.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of systems engineers, mechanical engineers, acquisition specialists, and logistics professionals to provide design input.
- Integrate HSI considerations in system design and throughout the development lifecycle to ensure operational success and user-centered outcomes.
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in Human Systems Integration or related discipline.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance
- Proven expertise in at least one HSI domain with working knowledge across others.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in mechanical, structural, electrical, or electronic design
- Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other high-reliability industry
- Experience with military vehicle systems is highly desirable
