The HR Specialist will be responsible for essential Human Resources duties and coordinating all office activities assigned. This person will be reporting to the Manager of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:  

  • Human Resources:
    • HR administration, employment contract management, and handling of a new hire, employee change, and termination processes with guidance from the Human Resources Director.
    • Updating and maintaining the HR system, digital and physical HR files, and HR SharePoint page.
    • Training Logs and Employee reports for local teams.
    • Administratively responsible for all new employees and contractors.
    • Aiding with performance reviews for local Managers.
    • Accountable for HR & Admin filing.
    • Ad hoc administrative duties as and when required.
  • Office:
    • Ensuring cleanliness of the office and needed materials for employees.
    • In partnership with IT, processing of new hire equipment.

Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better. Experience Required Experience in a similar role. Experience supporting audits and documentation control. Exposure to HR systems (UKG experience is a plus). Understanding of labor union agreements and mandatory increases. Experience supporting payroll processes in partnership with vendors (taxes, eSocial, FGTS, etc.) Proficiency in English (written and spoken) Experience in employee onboarding process, benefits, vacations, payroll closure, billing, facilities. Ability to work and collaborate with colleagues of all levels throughout the organization Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex ideas to diverse audiences Strong planning and time management skills Demonstrated proficiency using common desktop applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and shared internal drives Preferred Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation (CLT)
