About the Role

As a Human Resources Specialist—Logistics, you will be part of a team that builds strong and trusting relationships with associates and business partners while fostering a culture of care and appreciation. You will help support associates and business partners regarding HR processes, new hire onboarding activities and compliance programs.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Be a support partner for associates by working to provide answers and establishing connections to appropriate business partners and resources

  • Provide feedback on HR programs, policies and processes to HR partners

  • Champion new associate onboarding and recruiting activities

  • Administer HR processes for associates and executives

  • Execute compliance programs with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping

  • Facilitate classroom orientation and training sessions

  • Give recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadership

  • Support implementation and adoption of HR-related initiatives across the organization

  • Conduct exit interviews as needed

  • Additional tasks may be assigned 

 

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative or customer service-oriented roles

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred

  • Prior experience working as part of a team

  • PHR or SPHR

  • Ability to give direction and to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others.

  • Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes

  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units.

  • Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.
